What is the deposit, and when is it taken?
The deposit is a security hold taken at pickup that can be used against damage or a missing fuel level. The amount varies by supplier and is shown in the offer's own immutable condition snapshot.
How is excess different from the deposit?
Excess is the upper amount you are responsible for in a damage claim; the supplier's insurance covers costs above it. The excess amount is shown separately from the deposit on every offer.
What does “or similar” mean?
A vehicle model is shown as exact only when the supplier has guaranteed it in writing; otherwise the card reads “or similar”, so you know which commitment applies before you request a booking.
When do I pay?
This marketplace does not take online payment. The total shown on the offer's payment split is paid to the supplier at pickup.
Can I drive across the north-south border?
Cross-border travel is prohibited by default. It is enabled only where a specific supplier has given written permission with matching insurance cover, shown explicitly on that offer; no blanket permission is assumed.
